Our programs are based in Arequipa, a wonderful city in the southern region of Peru. This pleasant city contains a rich mixture of indigenous and Spanish cultures. Arequipa is celebrated for its rich culinary history and beautiful baroque architecture crafted out of local white volcanic sillar rock. The city is guarded by three dramatic volcanoes and its historical center was named a Unesco World Heritage Site in the year 2000.
